Georgie is an Accredited Family Law Specialist with global experience. She specialises in all areas of family law including complex financial settlements, parenting arrangements, pre and post-nuptial financial agreements, spousal and child maintenance issues, relocation disputes, intervention orders and divorce.
Georgie has over 20 years' experience in family law and became a Director of the firm in 2017. As an Accredited Family Law Specialist since 2007, Georgie is dedicated to her clients' best interests and always takes a strategic and commercial approach.
Georgie is experienced in all aspects of family law, particularly complex financial disputes, financial agreements (including pre-nuptial, during cohabitation and post-separation), parenting disputes, spousal and child maintenance issues, relocation disputes and intervention order litigation. Having worked at one of London's leading family law firms, Georgie has significant experience in cross-jurisdictional matters.
Georgie has been recognised by the Doyle's Guide to the Australian legal profession as one of Victoria’s leading Parenting and Children's Matters Lawyers in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Georgie was appointed to the Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialisation Advisory Committee in 2019 and is the current Chair of this Committee. She regularly presents on family law issues for the Law Institute of Victoria and has regularly been named in Doyle's Guide to the Australian legal profession.
Georgie holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Japanese) from the University of Melbourne and is also admitted to practice in the United Kingdom.
