Daniel Piekarski commenced practice in a small suburban firm before joining Victoria Legal Aid where he worked for many years as an Independent Children's Lawyer. In this role, he honed his skills across a range of complex parenting cases including cases involving significant family violence, gender dysphoria, surrogacy and interstate and international relocation applications.
Daniel was admitted to practice in 2003.
He is an Accredited Family Law Specialist.
Most recently, Daniel was a Judicial Registrar of the federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Daniel gained extensive experience across the wide range of matters that came before the Court and has excellent knowledge of the Court’s practice and procedure. He brings this experience to implement vigour into our processes and has also developed his skills in complex property cases.
Daniel is a current member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s Family Law Accredited Specialisation Committee.
Daniel reads the Evidence Act as light reading and brings empathy and expertise to telling your story and guiding our clients through the challenging times of separation and legal processes.
