Jacob Clancy, a nephew of the founding partner of Clancy & Triado, Patricia Clancy AM, joined our firm in January 2012 as a Trainee Solicitor. Jacob works closely with the Managing Director, Paul Staindl and other senior staff to fulfil his obligations for admission to the legal profession in Victoria, completing the requirements through a combination of in-house work at Clancy & Triado and courses conducted through the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

Jacob will be admitted to practice law in early 2013 when he will become a solicitor with the firm. He has had a keen interest in the law from an early age and became particularly interested in family law and alternative dispute resolution more generally during the early part of his legal studies. Jacob enjoys family law and the high level of interaction with a diverse group of people, and the opportunity to help people through what is often a difficult period of their lives.

Jacob likes to travel and has spent extensive periods of time living overseas in Europe, Latin America and Asia, enjoys reading fiction and supports the Richmond Tigers.
