Nicky Neville-Jones

Nicky Neville-Jones has practised in family law since her admission and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Performing Arts (Theatre) from Monash University. During her studies at Monash she undertook law subjects at Monash University campuses in both Italy and Malaysia. She attained an Accreditation specialising in Family Law from the Law Institute of Victoria (“LIV”) in 2017 and that same year joined Clancy & Triado.

Nicky practises in all areas of family law including complex parenting and property matters, family violence, child support and spousal maintenance. Nicky also undertakes work for family law clients who have pet related disputes. Nicky has presented seminars on this subject, as well as appearing in the media. Nicky has an interest in animal law and is the founding Chair of the Animal Law and Welfare Committee at the LIV and volunteers for the Animal Law Institute.

Nicky is also the current Chair of the Family Law Section Executive Committee at the LIV. She is also a Committee Member of the Courts Practice Committee and Co-Chair of the newly formed Family Violence Working Group. Nicky enjoys family law policy work and currently advocates for reform in family law in her position as Chair of the Section.

When not acting for family law clients with care and compassion or passionately seeking reforms for our four-legged friends, you can find her “treading the boards” at one of the theatres around Melbourne. She is currently the Artistic Director of the lawyers performing arts production company “BottledSnail Productions” and directed their 2019 major production at Chapel Off Chapel in Prahran.
