Kylie Hind

Kylie graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Banking and Finance. She has also completed her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accountancy.

Kylie commenced her articles in a legal firm in Brisbane in 1998 where she gained a broad range of experience in most areas of general law including wills and estates, criminal law and family law. Kylie pursued her interest in family law and moved to a city firm in 2001 where she became an Associate of the firm working primarily in the areas of family law and business succession/ estate planning.

Kylie has worked for a range of clients over the years, both private and government funded. She has also worked as a volunteer lawyer for the Women's Legal Service in Brisbane.

Kylie was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2000. In 2003 she was invited to become a committee member of the Family Law Section of the Queensland Law Society and continued in that role until relocating to Melbourne in 2006.

Kylie has practised in all aspects of family law since settling in Melbourne in early 2006. She is particularly interested in utilising her commerce skills in complex financial matters involving companies, family trusts, and bankruptcy. Kylie also practises in estate planning.

Kylie joined the team at Clancy & Triado in early 2006. An employee solicitor of the firm, Kylie is dedicated to assisting her clients make informed decisions and achieve the best possible outcome in the resolution of their matter, both in the areas of family law and wills and estate planning and with our ageing population, this is forming a larger part of her practice especially in the creation of testamentary trusts and appropriate distribution of family wealth.

Kylie is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
